Forestry Direct Reading Height Gauge, CGQ-1 High-Precision Handheld Altimeter Specifications: Can Measure Height Difference, Height and Slope Angle of Terrain Maximum Measurement Height: 60m Maximum Height of Overlooking Measurement: 20m Set Distance: 15, 20, 30, 40 (M) Product Size: 160mm X 123mm X 20mm Product Material: PVC Maximum Elevation Angle: 60° Maximum Depression Angle: 30° Minimum Grid Value: 0.5m Weight: 0.4kg Packing List: 1 * Handheld Altimeter (I) Measuring Height 1. Use a tape measure or measuring rope to measure the horizontal distance from the object to be measured to the instrument (such as 15m, 20m, 30m, 40m) and use this line as the baseline. 2. Hold the instrument with your right hand and press the button. The pointer is released. 3. Move your eye close to the observation hole and aim at the top of the object to be measured through the observation hole and the front sight. Pause for 2-3 seconds until the pointer stops swinging and becomes vertical. Then pull the trigger and the pointer is locked. Read the value of the pointer on the corresponding baseline of the height plate, which is the measured height H. (II) Measuring Height on a Slope When measuring the height of an object on a sloped ground (slope angle is a), first measure the distance on the slope, use the instrument to measure angle a and elevation (or depression), calculate the heights of the two ends respectively, and finally take the sum or difference to get the height of the object to be measured. (III) Measuring Slope The method of measuring depression and elevation is the same as the above method. The value of the bottom line on the height is the degree of the slope angle.
