These tubs are commonly used for ice cream. They have an attractive glossy finish and a small radius on the lower edge. Tubs for these applications tend to be light weight and these are no exception. The lid snaps on with a nice fit. Tubs have a capacity of 1/2 gal or 64 ounces. Both the tub and lid are of natural (no pigment) FDA compliant High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE).
