500 grams of Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar, used to cultivate a variety of fungi and yeast species. Agar comes dehydrated in a plastic open-mouth bottle for convenient storage. Each bottle makes 7 L of growth medium. Each bottle comes with an SDS, providing safe handling and storage information.
- GENERAL PURPOSE GROWTH MEDIUM || 500g bottle of general purpose growth medium for the cultivation of fungi and yeast species in petri dishes or test tube slants.
- EASY TO PREPARE || Simply mix 65 g medium with 1 L deionized water and bring to a boil while stirring to ensure medium is completely dissolved. Pour into petri dishes or tubes, then allow medium to cool and harden.
