- The skid plate pieces are full length repair pieces that completely repair the areas in front of and behind the skid plates
- These pieces gets attached to the frame and the transfer case and transmission gets bolted to them. Hardware is included
- Each piece measures approximately 43 1/2" end to end
- Constructed of 10 gauge rolled high carbon steel which is thicker than your existing frame
- NOTE: These are weld on pieces. Moderate welding skills required. You will need to cut out the lower 2/3 of your frame and sandwich the repair piece over the remaining upper 1/3. Screw in provided bolts through the repair piece into the frame, then weld around the perimeter of the piece. This item will be delivered bare steel
