Technicians use it as a penetrating fluid when working on assemblies that have seen water, salt, heat cycles, or long intervals between services. In practice, Cre-Oil supports common shop tasks where a bolt loosener spray is needed: penetrating oil for rusted bolts, penetrating oil for stuck bolts, penetrating oil for spark plugs, penetrating oil for lug nuts, screws, exhaust hardware, hinges, and lock cylinders. Applied correctly, it helps free rust-bound fasteners after appropriate dwell time and mechanical technique back-and-forth motion, tapping, or controlled heat where permitted by the service manual. After disassembly, Cre-Oil leaves a thin lubricating film that aids reassembly and initial torque, providing short-term protection while parts are aligned and brought to spec. For long-term joint protection, follow service guidance and use anti-seize where specified; Cre-Oil is not a substitute for an anti-seize compound or threadlocker. How to use: Shake well. Aim directly at the joint so the penetrant reaches the threads; use the included straw for precise delivery. Allow dwell time, then reapply and work the fastener back and forth to draw product deeper. For confined or heavily corroded areas (e.g., exhaust studs or plugs), repeat short cycles until movement begins. Wipe excess before final torque. Use PPE and adequate ventilation. Avoid overspray on friction materials, finishes, belts, or surfaces where oils are not desired. Not intended for wood, finishing applications, or personal-care uses.
