The JP Korsteel Blue Steel Oval Link Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a stainless steel horse bit with a fine hand-polished blue steel finish that gives off a taste enjoyed by the horse and stimulates salivation, by oxidising when in contact with air and humidity. The JP Korsteel collection feature a unique curved shape to the mouthpiece designed to reduce the "nutcracker" action and to alleviate pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth. This design prevents contact with the roof of the horses mouth allowing for effective communication between horse and rider whilst encouraging relaxation and salivation. The loose ring snaffle style bit is a mobile bit which discourages fixing and leaning on the forehand. This oval link mouth piece is a mild bit designed to create less pressure than a standard French link.
