- How do I use this tool? Is this difficult to use? 5-STEP EXTRACTION PROCESS — NO CLUTCH DISASSEMBLY REQUIRED: ① Install puller bolt and flat washer through puller plate, cutouts facing the driven clutch sheave ② Thread the M4 set screw into the roller pin until it stops ③ CRITICAL: Ensure both arms of the puller plate sit evenly into the clutch fins on each side—uneven seating causes the pin to pull at an angle and may bind ④ Hold puller bolt end with one 3/4" wrench, turn nut clockwise with second wrench to extract pin ⑤ Apply heat gun to roller pin area for 30–60 seconds before extraction if pin is seized for smoother removal. No need to disassemble the sliding hammer.
