Our MTS Company #0051XL 21-gal. fuel tank fits the 1978-1986 Jeep CJ. This tank requires the 15-gal. OEM style skid plate for installation. The skid plate extensions are used to lower the skid plate for installation. Includes a new sending unit, top strap, skid plate extensions, lock ring and O-ring. Approx. dimensions 23" x 16" x 15". From 1981-1986, Jeep offered an OEM 20-gal. factory "plastic" tank in the CJ's. Our 21-gal. tank does not directly replace the OEM 20-gal. factory plastic tank. A new 15-gal. OEM style skid plate, end straps and hoses are required to install this 21-gal. tank. The EVAP system will also need to be re-worked to match the 15-gal. tank setup. ** This tank will NOT physically fit in a CJ8 Scrambler.**
