Dirty Dingo Motorsports 4X4 LS & LT Conversion Cross Member Complete Kit DD-LS-CM1-CK Modular cross member for installing 1997-2015 Gen III/IV LS series engines into 1967-1972 Chevy and GMC 4X4 Trucks, K5 Blazers, and Suburbans. This is a true "bolt in" design. Precision laser cut from 1/4 inch plate steel. Designed with hidden slotted adjustable plates to accommodate out of square or bent frame rails. Utilizes updated captured clam shell style motor mounts while retaining factory engine position. Center section easily unbolts and drops out for oil pan removal. Includes outer frame plates for added strength. Mounts are precision CNC laser cut from .250 thick 1050 High Carbon cold rolled steel. These LS mounts are adjustable allowing you to move the engine from the original bell housing position up to 2 ½ inches forward, and up to 1/2 inch rearward. When torqued in place they do not allow the engine to move, even under high horsepower applications. Precision CNC press brake folded with large radius die to reduce stress on the bends. These conversion mounts are designed to be used with the factory rubber clam shell style mounts on your original frame. These mounts allow the installation of TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80, 6L80, 6L90 and any other combination of standard or automatic transmissions. Grade-8 zinc coated hardware including new cross bolt. . * Sliding engine forward will require using 1998-2002 Camaro oil pan. * Does not require installing a lift kit.
