MSW0918-M-16S-W-1 manually regenerated softener with 16,000 grains capacity. The Softener is capable of treating up to 5 gallons per minute of supply water with a 10-grain Total Hardness load to 0 soft conditions on a continuous base up to 1600 gallons of conditioned water. The premium tank head is a three-piece molded PVC assembly with a 2.5” removable cap where salt is added during the regeneration process. C. In the cap is a resin screen provided to retain the softener resin when the softener is laying on its side during shipping. D.The draw tube is a 0.75 OD distributor tube with a resin screen that is fixed to the tank head adapter and extends into the pressure vessel to the bottom of the resin. This tube allows normal flows with a slightly lower pressure drop, E.
