- NPN NO (Normally Open): In its default state (no object detected), the NPN transistor is off, keeping the output open (no current flows). - To use a photoelectric sensor: Mount and align it so the light beam hits the target. Wire it correctly (NPN = connects to ground, PNP = connects to +V). Adjust sensitivity if needed. Test by blocking the beam—the sensor’s LED or output signal will confirm detection.
- Keep the sensor clean and avoid bright ambient light that might interrupt the detection result.
