Hale Habitat & Seed - Quality Lawn Seed Mixes. Bee Lawn Mix - 1000 square feet. This mix of fine fescue grasses and flowers provides quality nutrition for bees and other pollinators. Bee Lawn can be treated like a regular lawn or left unmown/infrequently mown to maximize flowers. If you plan to mow, mow only down to 3 inches and avoid mowing when flowers are in bloom. It is not recommended to use herbicides to control weeds. Seeding Depth: 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Seeding Rate: 150-250 lbs/ac. Seeding Date: spring or fall. Size: 4 lbs (will seed approximately 1000 square feet). Mix includes Chewings Fescue, Hard Fescue, Creeping Red Fescue, Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris), White Dutch Clover, Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum).
