niko and... Boa x Nylon Reversible Coat Inner Design niko and... L/XL

At first glance, it's a natural-looking boa coat, but the base of this garment is a fire-resistant inner layer designed for U.S. military flyers.

Originally worn inside flight jackets, it was designed for use in environments anticipating fire and static electricity. The labels "FIRE RESISTANT" and "DO NOT STARCH" are markings only found on genuine military items.

niko and… has retained only the rugged design philosophy and reconstructed it with boa and nylon to make it suitable for everyday wear. It looks soft, but it's completely military-inspired on the inside. This gap is the biggest appeal of this garment.

The silhouette also comes from the inner layer, with a large drop in the shoulders and a relaxed width. The sleeves are slightly shorter, designed for layering. It's not a garment to be worn perfectly on its own, but rather "a piece that is completed by layering" for those who understand.

The design philosophy is clearly different from mass-produced outerwear. There's a good reason why you won't see many people wearing it.
