Jason Evans ZINE "Reconciliation" Art Photo Collection

This is Jason Evans' ZINE "Reconciliation."

Jason Evans is a British-born artist. He is active mainly in fashion magazines and music-related projects, such as CD jacket photography for Radiohead. His "Strictly" series from 1991 is also included in the Tate Collection.

This ZINE was published in conjunction with Jason Evans' exhibition held at the Permanent Gallery in Brighton in 2008. It features a selection of works from Evans' diverse back catalog, tracing the themes that repeatedly appear in his work. The four bodies of work reconsidered in the exhibition and this book are "The New Scent," "NewYorkLondonParisTokyo," "The End of the World is Fine," and "The Daily Nice," all of which reflect Evans' interest in "street photography." Works by Donald Christie, Tazelaar Stevenson, and Shannon Ebner are also included.

This stapled book uses various materials, such as playing cards, photographs, and collages, making it a very ZINE-like ZINE.
