This is the FX-AUDIO TUBE-00J (Simplified Revised Edition).

The items to be shipped are the main unit, the original box, and the original vacuum tubes. There are no additional items. The installed OPAMP will be converted to DIP and sent in the box.

For confirmation, the OPAMP and screws have also been removed. I assembled this with the purpose of trying out various fine-pin op-amps for 2-circuit DIP. They have been removed. The original OPAMP has also been converted to DIP, so I think it will be easy to swap.

What are the advantages of using a 2-circuit DIP board? To be honest, it's a personal hobby. It's like asking what the advantages are of changing the handlebars or muffler on a car or motorcycle; I'm not sure how to answer. Please refer to the many people online who explain the sonic differences of OPAMPs.

The OPAMPs from Nisshinbo, MUSES05 and MUSES03D, have exquisite sound. The BB 627AP is also different in sound, even though it costs about 5 times more than the FX-AUDIO "627AU".

This is recommended for those who want to easily try out various OPAMPs.

This is a simplified revised edition. It's a recent model from FX-AUDIO. The coupling and output capacitors are still the original ones.

To accommodate the use of a 1-circuit to 2-circuit DIP, the coupling capacitors were upgraded from 16V 480μF to 35V 680μF in capacity.

The capacitors in the vacuum tube power supply section were upgraded from 16V 1000μF to a 3-times larger capacity of 16V 3300μF.

Since I was at it, I replaced them with the highest-end audio capacitors from MUSE, 25V 100μF.

Although it's a simple modification, the mid-bass range changes quite a bit. After that, please experiment with different op-amps and vacuum tubes.

At the very least, please use a power filter. Direct insertion of the AC adapter will produce the most noise.
