vintage oriental ginger jar shape molded glass table/accent lamp

Very unique! This lovely lamp base (base only, no shade) looks like ceramic but is actually molded clear glass that has a black coating on the inside that has a marble/crackled finish. It measures 15 1/2" to the top of the socket. Shown with a clip on shade in one of the photos. You can use a clip on, one that sits on the socket or use a harp (not included) and shade. It has a raised floral design all around, front and back. The marbling is most noticeable when light is shining through the back. It has a metal screw on jar type top. It does not come off. The bottom has a oriental style carved wood base/platform. I believe it's from around the 1960's. It appears to have it's original cord but the 3 way socket is newer. It has a very long 8 1/2 foot cord. Excellent working condition. The only cosmetic issue is the metal cap has some surface rust spots. Nothing terrible bad. The brass fitting at the top is tarnished and discolored. The glass is perfect, no issues there.
