Vintage 1940s brown speckled tweed wool coat with a genuine mink fur shawl collar. Double-breasted silhouette with oversized tortoiseshell-style buttons, hip patch pockets, and soft pleated back for movement. Fully lined in a deep rose satin lining. Heavy structured tailoring with classic mid-century proportions — not swing, more of a tailored walking coat. Warm, elegant and timeless, perfect for winter wear or vintage collectors. Union made in the USA Consumer Protection label was used from 1935 - 1959, which would place this coat somewhere in that time period.
Unfortunately, no brand or size tag. Fits about a medium or bigger.
