This is a 1955 model of the Valencia-made Levi's 501XX. The "555" stamp on the back of the top button indicates that it was manufactured at the Valencia factory in the United States between 1996 and 2003. The Valencia factory closed in 2003, making these highly sought after and increasing their value. The 501XX 1955 model is considered the completed form of the 501XX.
