No box, comes with a stand.
The stand doesn't click in firmly, so it takes a little skill to make it stand on its own.
(It stands best if you align the feet with the stand and gently release. Once it stands, it won't fall unless you give it a strong impact.)
The body joints are a little loose.
You can push them in all the way, and it shouldn't be a problem for display, but if you're concerned, you can wrap cellophane tape or masking tape around the protruding parts of the joints to make them fit more securely.
