qiri Wildflowers Embroidery Dress - Excellent Condition

This series features motifs of wildflowers embroidered with incredibly fine cross-stitch.

Each stitch is carefully embroidered using an old embroidery machine at a Kiryu fabric embroidery factory. The fineness of the stitching is unparalleled, resulting in a delicate embroidery.

The base fabric is a high-density linen made from fine count yarn.

The embroidery was inspired by the idea of what it would look like if the sideways-facing women in the paintings of Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershoi were wearing clothes with embroidery.

Due to the extremely fine stitching, it takes about an hour to embroider one motif, and three days to embroider one roll of fabric (13.7m), making this a special textile.

The dress is derived from an antique church smock design.

It features a deep neckline, and the ribbon at the neck can be tied or left to hang loosely. It can be worn front-to-back, and it's also recommended to wear it with the opening in the back and tie the ribbon.

This dress can create both a formal and a relaxed impression depending on how it's styled.

The side slits reach the knee, making it ideal to coordinate with pants or leggings.

The sleeve cuffs feature high-quality nut buttons, made from the seeds of coconuts.
