It fits loosely.
The sleeve ends have ribbing, so they stay in place.
They don't cover my hands.

Condition:
There are no noticeable stains or damage, and there are no problems with wear.
The snap-on hood is missing.

Columbia's Briarshun half coat

There was a reissue around 2022, but this is the original.
90s from the rectangular square tag, white tag.

The outer fabric is cotton.
The lining of the body is cotton flannel.
The lining of the lower body and the sleeve lining are nylon.

The outer fabric has a water-repellent finish that looks like oiled cloth. It's probably urethane-based and not wax (oil), so there's no stickiness or odor.

A design that looks like a mix of Barbour's Border and Spey.
The length is like the Border, and the hooded detail seems to be inspired by the Spey.

This is the only model with a design that completely copies Barbour.
*I think there were various reasons...

I don't like oiled clothes, so I find this jacket, which looks like a Barbour, very useful.
Depending on the inner layer, it's a convenient outerwear that can be worn from autumn to spring, except in summer.

The check pattern of the lining also has a classic color scheme that evokes the UK.
The action pleats on the back are a Columbia-like detail unique to an outdoor brand, not found on Barbour.

The reissue is generally more compact, and the size is not ideal.
There are few of the originals in the world, and I don't think the larger sizes of the originals will be available in the future.
