This lightweight bag carries like a suitcase and is carried like a backpack. It's easy to organize and has enough capacity for a few days of travel. The name comes from a vintage bag designed to fit under the seats of Pullman train cars. It uses lightweight 500D Cordura nylon with a canvas weave similar to the iconic Tin Cloth, and 1000D Cordura with a weave similar to the well-regarded Rugged Twill. Both of these abrasion-resistant materials are dry-waxed, providing legendary water resistance like traditional waxed cotton.

The main compartment opens clamshell-style for easy access and visibility. When opened, a full-size zippered panel helps to separate and organize clothing and gear. The adjustable shoulder straps are removable, preventing snags in airline overhead compartments or checked baggage. The back panel is padded, and the shoulder straps are contoured for a backpack-style carry, making long walks through airport concourses a breeze.
