■DESIGN

This vest has a length that covers the hips. The most appealing feature is the powerful expression created by the thick yarn, which would normally only be possible to knit by hand. The clean neckline without any seams and the details of the armholes accentuate the impact of the knit. The knit is intentionally loose to allow for wear until midsummer, creating a relaxed feel. Layering with a tank top is recommended.

■MATERIAL

Made from three types of yarn: silk, which excels in moisture absorption, quick-drying properties, and skin moisturization, and has both luster and softness; washi paper, which has a special porous structure and boasts more moisture absorption, quick-drying properties, and deodorizing and UV effects than linen, giving the knit firmness; and cotton, which is absorbent and breathable. The fabric feels comfortable on the body, and it doesn't sag when made into clothing. The ATON original material expresses complex colors with a rough, textured appearance by knitting three differently dyed yarns into one.
