A very old suit vest from the late 19th to early 20th century.
This item has a great atmosphere thanks to the matte texture of the doeskin.
The back appears to be leather at first glance, but it's actually cotton with a moderate sheen. This material was often used for vests of this era, and it's a standard for determining the age.
