Vintage US Army sweatpants from the 1950s-60s. These were originally issued as training wear. They've become incredibly rare in the market. Sweatpants from this era were often discarded due to wear and tear, especially compared to tops. This makes these a truly valuable find. Older models are known for their double-knee construction. They feature a wide waistband known as a "haramaki rib" and a gusset at the inseam. Of course, being from this era, they're made from 100% cotton, using a soft, old-style weaving machine. The seams are sewn with a 4-needle flat seamer. And this is a golden size! The actual measurements are approximately 33x30, a perfect fit. The hems have been altered, but this actually gives them a great silhouette, making them easy to wear with sneakers, boots, or dress shoes, like a pair of slacks. These vintage sweatpants are highly sought after and scarce, even in the US. They are in excellent condition with no noticeable stains. Please consider!
