This is a brand new, unused Locotan dress purchased from a vintage doll specialty shop. The cardboard backing was stapled from the time of purchase. It's likely the shop owner stapled it because the glue had deteriorated with age, causing the dress to separate from the backing. There is one spot where the cardboard backing isn't pierced by the core; please see images 5-7.
Since purchasing, I have kept it unopened in a cardboard box.
The design is truly unique and difficult to replicate even today♡ While it's a dress for Locotan, I was able to fit it on Jenny and Licca dolls as well. Many dolls besides Locotan should be able to wear it, so please consider purchasing if you like it.
