This is a D-Day vest from the Normandy landings.
I purchased this, supposedly an actual costume from the filming of Saving Private Ryan.
I believe I was told it was better made than other replicas. There are no tags.
There is a lot of rust transfer on the metal fittings, which actually adds to the atmosphere.
I don't know if it's really a costume, but the item itself is solid and very cool.
