Striking Art Nouveau–style figural vase depicting a classical nude female figure entwined with a swan, inspired by the iconic Leda and the Swan motif!
The vase is very heavy for its size, suggesting a solid metal construction with a bronze finish over a darker base metal. Interior oxidation and green patina in recessed areas are consistent with age and metal composition. The underside is stamped "425," commonly interpreted as a model or mold number rather than a purity mark.
Very good vintage condition with minor age-related surface wear. There are a few tiny spots, including one on the figure's chest where the bronze finish has worn through or scratched to the darker metal beneath.
