◆ This is a rayon pique open collar shirt from around the 1950s.

It has a bag-stitched collar without a collar stay, and hand stitching on the collar and pocket flaps.
Chain stitch on the left chest and back (burgundy color).
Top button is loop closure.
Side and armhole seams are double-stitched, and the hem is box-stitched.
Shell buttons.

It's made of a ribbed rayon pique material called Big Town Cords, which is quite rare.

◆ Condition
There are some minor stains, color fading, scuffs, and small scratches, and it has a reasonable amount of wear, but there are no major noticeable flaws.

*The following is a detailed condition description, so please read it only if you are concerned.

There are slight stains on the collar folds and at the base of both side seams, but they are not very noticeable.

There are faint stains on the bottom of both pockets, near the bottom of the pockets, and slightly above the hem on the right side of the back. There is also some color fading near the left shoulder.

There is a very small scuff on the corner of the loop side, small vertical scratches on the second and third buttonholes and the right cuff (repaired with a repair sheet from the back), a patch mark (needle marks) near the left sleeve bicep, a surface scuff near the left elbow, and scuffs on the cuff tips.

There is slight fraying on the second to fourth buttonholes, but it does not affect use.

There are scuffs, small scratches, and slight stains on the cuffs (especially on the corners and the back of the cuffs).

The cuff buttons have been replaced and are smaller than the original front buttons, but it is not very noticeable. Also, the button threads were about to come off, so I sewed them all again just in case.

Please note that there may be some chipping on the shell buttons.

There is a slight misalignment on the front hem and a seam allowance missing on the left hem. Please note that this is due to the original sewing.
