The A-2 deck jacket was officially adopted by the U.S. Navy as a cold weather jacket for shipboard work, replacing the N-1, and was produced and issued for approximately 30 years from the 1960s.

This jacket, carefully reproduced in Japan, features the early model details with triangular flaps on the chest pockets and uses cotton satin that allows for aging. Furthermore, a product wash has been applied to recreate the look of having been worn for many years.

It features a CONMAR zipper that evokes a vintage feel, slash pockets on both sides for easy hand access, and adjusters at the waist to enhance the fit.

The inner cuffs, which fit the wrist snugly, are made with ribbed knit. The acrylic pile lining is soft and arranged to prevent bulkiness when worn. The comfort has been further improved.

Carefully manufactured one by one by skilled Japanese staff in a domestic factory, thorough quality control is carried out from fabric cutting to sewing, and the attachment of parts such as buttons and zippers, so you can wear it with confidence.
