This piece is inspired by the mysterious 501-style jeans worn by Marlon Brando in the 1953 film "WILD ONE."
〇Material
Vintage uneven yarn is expressed using materials that have cleared the strictest international organic certification, blending Taisho-spun organic cotton with Suvin's dropped cotton.
The warp threads are dyed with pure indigo rope dyeing, reproducing the color of Levi's from the 50s and 60s.
Furthermore, the weft threads are woven with yarn dyed with sulfur dyes, inspired by the sun-faded beige of the designer Mr. Kobayashi's denim jacket.

The silhouette features a gentle taper, reminiscent of 501XX.
The key point is the thickness of the selvedge. The impact when wear marks appear is, of course, impressive, and it also provides a strong accent when rolled up.
