RRL is releasing SLIM-FIT jeans made in the USA using Limited-Edition Japan Selvedge denim.
The finest, carefully selected cotton from Tennessee, USA, is sent to Okayama, where it is dyed with authentic indigo using traditional Japanese methods, and denim fabric of the highest quality is produced through the skilled techniques of artisans.
The finished fabric is then sent back to the United States, where this denim is finished using RRL's techniques without reservation.
This limited edition uses 14.5oz Japanese selvedge denim. While the slim fit creates an urban silhouette, the 14.5oz heavyweight, unwashed denim gives it a rugged RRL feel.
Unlike the regular version, this is a Limited Edition, with a production run of 200 pairs. It may seem like a large number for a limited edition, but considering Ralph Lauren's global presence, it might be a small number.
Retail price is around 60,000 yen.
