French Antique Jewelry Earrings Dormeuse Vintage 18k

Purchased from an antique jewelry shop in France.

These earrings are a "dormeuse" design, where the hook passes from behind the earlobe to the front and is then inserted into the hole of the motif. This type is comfortable enough to wear while sleeping, and is also known as a sleeper earring.

These antique-style earrings have a substantial presence due to their size. Please note that there are damages such as dents, cracks, and discoloration in the center of the motif, which is reflected in the price.

* Dormeuse earrings are very comfortable, also known as sleeper earrings (earrings you can wear while sleeping). However, they can be a little tricky to get used to. Sometimes, after passing the earring through the earlobe, it may not hook properly when attaching it to the clasp.
Be careful not to force it in the wrong direction, and avoid using excessive force when removing them, as this can cause deformation or damage.
