Extremely rare Minako Yoshida "Yume de Aetara" promo highlight / test pressing sample disc

Minako Yoshida has moved record companies five times. The single "Yume de Aetara" offered here was recorded in 1976. It was included on her 4th album, "FLAPPER," released on March 25th of the same year. To promote the album, the record company created a promotional highlight test pressing (the item for sale here) that featured "Yume de Aetara / Last Step" as a single cut from the album. However, because Minako Yoshida strongly refused to have it released as a single, this highlight test pressing seems to have been shelved. Two years later, in 1978, the familiar single with the catalog number RVS-536 was released (see photos 8 to 11).

Perhaps due to this background, it seems to be a rare and highly sought-after record among Minako Yoshida's records, second only to "Koi wa Ryusei (Part I & II)." It's like a phantom alternate jacket version, similar to Akina Nakamori's "Slow Motion," and has a deep history.

The record offered here has a slightly cut upper right corner of the jacket. The record itself is in good condition, with no burns, warps, or scratches. Even though it's a test pressing, there are no signs of rough handling; rather, it seems to have been stored away without seeing the light of day. This is only natural if it has been in the hands of someone who specializes in records. However, it is a very old item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition item.
