This item recreates the M-47 field jacket and Type 2 denim jacket from the perspective of ALMW by WAIPER.

The fabric is WAIPER's original denim made from extra-long staple Supima cotton from the USA. While extra-long staple cotton is usually woven with a light ounce for a beautiful surface, this denim is intentionally woven with a sturdy 14oz in Okayama Prefecture, the holy land of denim. The surface has a luster, and the soft and supple comfort unique to Supima cotton allows you to enjoy beautiful aging as you wear it.

The design incorporates the chin strap and sleeve straps from the M-47 jacket, achieving a design not usually seen in denim jackets. It also features the double flap pockets and center pleats seen in Type 2, and the pocket position is lowered for easier access. Furthermore, an inner pocket, rarely seen in denim jackets, is included, convenient for storing small items like smartphones and keychains. The back features a T-back design with button adjusters at the waist for a clean look.

The vintage wash version uses various processing techniques to express the atmosphere, texture, and color fading of denim that looks like it has been worn for over a decade. It gives you the feeling of wearing vintage denim from the start.

With its boxy silhouette, this item pairs well with vintage styles and modern items like sweatshirts.
