80s Tete Homme Garnier Coat - Vintage

This coat, designed entirely by Mr. Kato himself, was purchased by a relative around 1983. It's an early, rare piece that hints at the "colors that don't defy nature" theme later adopted by Garnier.

The tailoring reflects Mr. Kato's philosophy, with details like the subtle herringbone pattern in muted red threads that appear at certain angles, and the faux pocket flaps.

It's made from a herringbone fabric of 90% strong-twisted, shrink-proofed wool and 10% nylon. This construction, based on natural materials, provides both durability and ease of movement.

Features a six-button front closure, with buttons 2-6 concealed by a fly front. The oversized boxy silhouette drapes vertically, creating a subtle, elegant fall.

In remarkably clean condition for a vintage piece, with only minor wrinkles and wear from storage.

Dry cleaned and stored in a dark place.
