The oldest existing eyewear manufacturer in the world, and one of the three major eyewear manufacturers in the United States, along with Bausch & Lomb and Shuron, it enjoys high trust.
Founded in Southbridge, Massachusetts in 1833, its long history is deeply connected to the history of eyeglasses.
●Condition●
Unused (vintage item). It has been stored for a long time without being used. There are no problems with use. Although it is unused, please have it adjusted at an optician if there is any oxidation, dullness, or distortion of the frame due to aging.
There is no BRITISH AMERICAN OPTICAL (BAO) engraving.
