This coat belonged to my grandmother in England, and my mom gave it to me. I have Tried so many times to decipher what the brand is or any other details that you can’t tell from the label. I have always come up short, especially with who made it….. My mom says it’s most likely Italian and when you Google you get a few European options but it all into Italian. Fur is not real, And the wool is actually pretty thin and is lined if you can tell in the pics where you see the thin liner. It’s not very heavy, except obviously around the neck. I don’t believe it’s meant to go hiking in the snow to stay warm but more so just fancy to look at!
PLEASE NOTE: it has to be dry cleaned only and I don’t think I’ve ever done it actually but I will be completely honest. It has been in a non-smoking home for over 15 years, but only up until three years ago …..as it is now in a smoking home in my house AND with a dog too. I live alone, and I don’t smoke heavily or even in the room it’s in.
