Cabin in the Snow Large Mixing Bowl by Tienshan, Stoneware, Vintage, Collectible

Offered is a Folk Craft, Cabin in the Snow large mixing bowl crafted by Tienshan. This pattern dates from 1995 – 2004 and features a sponge print technique using blue, brown, and green, over a cream-colored background. There is a small pit near the bottom of the bowl interior that looks like a manufacturing anomaly. Otherwise, this stoneware bowl is in very nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, stains, or crazing and shows little sign of bottom wear. There are some utensil marks that would be expected from a used item like this, but they are very light and most noticeable when turned to the light just so.

Diameter is 10 ¾” at the rim and 5 ¾” at the base. It is 6” tall. It is a hefty bowl at 5 lbs 9.3 oz and is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe, so good for frequent use.
