This is a traditional Japanese pattern fabric featuring a Genji-guruma (water wheel) design.

About the Pattern:
The large wheel-like pattern is called "Genji-guruma," derived from a story in the Heian period where ox-cart wheels were soaked in a river to prevent them from drying out. It is often combined with flowing water motifs.

Color and Uses:
The fabric has a deep blue-green base with brown and green patterns, creating a calm atmosphere. It is often used as fabric for Japanese clothing such as Nagajuban (undershirts), but can also be used for various handmade products such as Japanese accessories and interior decorations.

While researching products, I found a Nagajuban that had been tailored, so I borrowed the photos.
