This is a beautiful Villeroy & Boch porcelain circular trinket box with a lid. On the lid there is a wonderful purple and green illustration of Aconitum Napellus or Monkshood. The white porcelain is bright and provides the perfect background for the beautiful colorful design.
Aconitum Napellus is written on the lid. This beautiful porcelain trinket box is part of Villeroy and Boch’s Botanica designs.
The beautiful flower motif is framed by a dark trim around the rim of the lid and the bottom of the base.
The markings at the bottom of the trinket box have information that reads: “Depuis 1748 Villeroy & Boch, Botanica, Luxembourg”. This Villeroy & Boch trinket box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
This beautiful porcelain box would make a great addition to a collection of Villeroy & Boch porcelain, trinket boxes. It would also make a great gift.
