This lovely vintage holiday plate was made in Denmark in 1970 by Royal Copenhagen. Perfect for any time of year - decor on a plate or gallery wall, gift for a cat lover, etc.
This plate is in their annual Christmas series, for 1970, with a design by Kai Lange. It features a cute kitten / cat (a black-and-white cat, although the plate is drawn in blue) looking out of the window at a snowy landscape, with a Christmas Rose plant on the windowsill beside him. It is decorated around the rim with pine cones and a star. The plate has a glossy finish in blue and white.
On the back it says "Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, Christmas Rose and Cat"
In excellent vintage condition, this plate doesn't show any signs of wear or use at all. No chips, cracks, scratches, fleabites... it looks brand new. Includes the original booklet as well.
