Vintage Cool “Phone” Looking Panasonic Minimalist Designed Transceiver

Are you a collector of Mid-Century electronics (clocks, radios, stereos, turntables, gadgets, fans, transceivers, etc)? If you appreciate good industrial design across numerous types of products often with a Space-Age futuristic aesthetic, there’s a few vintage names to consider: Panasonic, Zenith, & Sony to name a few. However, of those 3, one stands out at having sold a numerous and diverse set of products with modern, minimalistic, eye-candy designs. That would be Panasonic. I know. I collect Panasonic.

These 2 Vintage Panasonic Transceivers are so cool. They look like what would become the first satellite/cell brick phones. They are rugged, heavy and every button on them has been strategically placed in the design to impart a functinally intuitive use, yet minimalist aesthetic. All this, while shaping the whole transceiver to be more like a phone, instead of the rectangularly boring shaped transceivers that others designed. Fantastic.
