Vintage Italian ombre abalone shell handcarved cameo necklace pendant
This is a unique antique piece. It feature a genuine abalone shell with handcarved lady cameo. The shell is iridescent and has an ombre type effect. The cameo is bezel set and wrapped in a twisted border then a handwrought filigree type wrap. A similar charm with a swirl in the center and filigree designs on its outside dangles from two links. The pendant dangles off to the side in a slightly diagonal fashion. It tests as a sterling silver plated. The pinch bale is a modern addition and is not sterling. This is a wonderful antique piece to add to your vintage jewelry collection.
