I became interested in wood carving while working with artisans. Today, I direct carvers to create my own designs. 'I love seeing how an antique piece evokes feelings of nostalgia. The most challenging aspect of this art is building on ideas, and the creative process from design to finish. 'This work has provided work for a lot of young people in my community. I still keep learning to improve the quality of my creations by attending seminars and exhibitions. 'I'm inspired by the things around me and everyday life. I dream of one day having a big workshop to be able to help more young people in my community.'
